The best ever World Cup photo!

I like to follow a wide range of sports, but I have to confess that football isn’t one of them.  Nevertheless, I can fully understand the concept of ‘world cup fever’ and have been enjoying seeing folks all around the world supporting their respective teams.

This utterly brilliant tweeted photo of dancers from the Bolshoi Ballet company watching the Russia v Spain match sums up perfectly the compelling nature of sport, bringing people together from all walks of life.  Wouldn’t Degas just have loved to paint this image if he had been around today!
